Published Author

Data collection, design, and development of Robotic Earthworm for peer reviewed paper.

Developed testing environments for robot to examine body bending as an anchor mechanism to locomote.

Integrated flexible PCB and strain sensor which determined values based on change in the shape of the flexible sensor.

Redesigned Smarticle, to integrate a charging port and increase structural integrity.

Integrated Buzzer and LED to improve swarm capabilities, allowing smarticle-to-smarticle communication.

Berkshire Grey

Mechanical Engineering Co-op Robotic Pick Team

6 month Co-op 2021

Design and production build of a novel tool to calibrate and upgrade sensors across all robotic pick cell operations.

Gathered requirements, made all drawings, held design reviews, & worked with suppliers for custom solutions.

Design and production build of a novel tool & enclosure.

Designed testing frame for robotic and perception hardware operating above manufacture limits.

Tested for “Infant Mortality” in hot and humid environments per MIL Standard.

Science Fairs

Prosthetic Arm and Exoskeleton

3D Printed Myoelectric Prosthetic Arm which removed the need for Targeted Muscle Reinnervation Surgery.

MK2 used wireless Myo Armband which contained 8 EMG “pods” and an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU).

Made Four Artificial McKibben Air Muscles per arm for actuation.

Pneumatic Air Muscles allowed for simple design, and analogous behaviour with skeletal muscles.
